Robert Wardius, DMD
Dr. Wardius graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1981. Early in his dental career, Dr. Wardius spent a number of weeks at the Pankey Institute, a premier continuing education center for dentists from all around the world in Key Biscayne, Florida. The mission of the Pankey Institute is to “close the gap between what is known in dentistry and what is being practiced.” For the last 35 years, Dr. Wardius has been doing dentistry at a level far beyond the typical practice.
Using his patented technique, Dr. Wardius is one of the very few specialized dentists capable of completing the entire All-on-4® implant procedure from start to finish by himself. This allows him to have complete control over every step of your treatment, providing you with your beautiful set of functioning teeth with the highest level of predictability. There is no “passing the buck,” and you don’t have to hop from office to office to get this done.
Dr. Wardius has provided All-on-4 implants for numerous patients that were told over and over again by different surgeons that they did not have enough bone for dental implants. If you’ve been told you can’t have implants, you need to see Dr. Wardius.
He’s been asked to lecture to dentists in the Washington, D.C. area and also completed the first All-on-4 procedure in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Wardius also goes to St. John in the United States Virgin Islands to perform implant surgery and completed the first All-on-4 case in the USVI.

Carol Burnish — Office Manager
Carol joined our team in 2005. While still in high school, she attended Vo-Tech, where she studied dental assisting and worked in the field for many years. After a break, she restarted her career at our office. She loves the changes and advances that have been made during her time away from dentistry. Carol coordinates every aspect of a patient’s time in our office, starting with the initial phone call, scheduling the appointment, submitting insurance claims, and handling payments and checking each patient out. Carol loves being a part of our patients’ life-changing transformations through the All-on-4 dental implant procedure. She says, “To change someone’s life is truly a miracle, and I love having a part in that transformation.” Carol has been married to her husband, Glenn, since 1985. They have one daughter, Caitlin, and two grandchildren, Skyler and Victoria. In her spare time, Carol loves to read and spend time with her family.
Samora Deponge — Dental Assistant
Samora has been a member of our team since 2015. She and her family moved from Haiti in 2011, and she officially became a United States citizen in 2018. She is a graduate of the Berks Technical Institute. Samora helps our patients feel comfortable when they are in the chair by talking to them, which helps them forget they are in a dental office. She loves being a part of the All-on-4 process and working with the great people at our office. When she is away from the office, she enjoys reading and watching television.
Heather Spayd — Hygienist
Heather became a certified dental assistant through Berks Career and Technology while still in high school. She received her Associates degree in science and dental hygiene at Penn School of Technology, and continued to take clinical and Law and Ethics exams at Florida State University to receive her dental hygiene license in Florida. Heather has been with Life Changing Dental Center for over 10 years. She loves being part of an office team that helps patients improve the quality of life and confidence by receiving a beautiful, Life Changing smile. She enjoys working for Dr. Wardius because he truly cares about all of his patients’ needs and takes his time to ensure each person receives excellent care. Heather is diligent in teaching her patients good preventive steps to keep their teeth, oral health and implants healthy so that they can have fantastic smiles for life. Outside of the office, Heather enjoys supporting her daughter Hannah during school and club volleyball games, and can often be found at the racetrack helping her son Seth, who drives a Sportsman Modified Racecar for their family team, Spayd Racing. She loves spending time with her family and her two pugs, Lulu and Buttercup.
Carina Colon — Dental Assistant
Carina joined us in 2018 and is a graduate of the Berks Technical Institute.
